The ability to retract sent messages is now available in the latest version of WhatsApp,it will work for all texts, images, videos, GIFs, voice messages, contact, files, location, and status replies.
It only works within 7 minutes of sending the message,if it passes 7 minutes then you will be unable to retract the message
HOW TO USE WHATSAPP DELETE FOR EVERYONE' FEATURE
Step 1
Select and hold down the message you wish to delete
Step 2
Click on delete then select delete for everyone
Step 3
The receiver will see this message has been deleted
WhatsApp can't recall a message contained in a quoted message at the moment and messages cannot be deleted for everyone if they are sent in a broadcast list.
WhatsApp will also inform you if they are unable to recall a message successfully, so you will know if you need to send an apology message to the person/group or not.
